Bonsai Exhibition

We were lucky to enjoy another warm and sunny day at this year’s Bonsai Exhibition in Troon. Our group performed a selection of Japanese music with shamisen and koto. We had spent time preparing a range of pieces especially for the event including traditional songs and folk songs. It was great fun performing together and sharing the sound of traditional Japanese instruments with everyone who came along.

［４］Press at the first joint of the first NECK.
Most important position.
［く］Repeat mark. Repeat just bars before.
［１］Press at the just below CHIBUKURO.
Most important position next to "4".
［３］Half way between "1" and "4".


［２］Half way between "1" and "3".
［５］A position you press with your middle finger without stress when your index finger is on "4".
［６］Just about 5mm below the second joint of the first NECK.
［７］A position you press with your middle finger without stress when your index finger is on "6".
［８］A position you press with your ring finger without stress when your index finger is on "6" (You don't use the ring finger everytime you press "8"). Just about 12cm below from the position "4".
［９］Just about 14cm below from the "4".

［１・］superoctave from "1". Evertime you press with your middle finger.
